Spring or Fall is the best time to plant Asparagus. Here’s how to do it: Dig a trench between 6-12” deep. Add some compost to the trench. Lay your asparagus out 12” apart, head to toe. Cover with compost. Keep moist by watering. When you see the asparagus popping through, add more compost to the ground level. The waiting is the hardest part!
