When you do an Internet search for "business check template for microsoft word" you'll find lots of them, some free and others paid. With any template, the question is whether the blanks in the template are in the correct place to print on your checks.

Jan 20, 2013 · Next, making a template is not that hard at all, no matter what Phil says. It is just a bit tedious. Start by putting some data in cells that will look like a check. print it. Then adjust row heights, column widths and try printing again. Repeat until you get it right.

Assuming the check supplier doesn't provide a template, you'll have to create one yourself. This starts with a ruler. Measure the distance from the top and left of the check for each field where text must be inserted.
