I routed the extra wire inside the forestock after carefully drilling exactly in the center of the 2 halves.

2018年5月5日 · I’m thinking of leaving the .45 ACP platform in favor of 9mm and am looking at adding a pistol caliber carbine to my battery. I have friends who (after a trigger job) swear by the Hi Point carbine. Others favor the Kel-Tec. I considered the Ruger but decided against it - the cost puts me close to a decent AR.

2024年10月28日 · Surprised more people haven't mentioned the Beretta CX4. Seems like a great fit to the OP's 9mm carbine quest. Personally, I'd choose .40S&W for a handy, pistol-caliber carbine. But then, I much prefer .40 over 9 anyway, except when it comes to pocket pistols, where I think 9 makes the most sense.

2024年9月26日 · I think I will stick with the 1943 Inland M1 Carbine. Been with me for over 40 years, lots of miles in the patrol car, many years of reliably filling my needs for a back-up piece. Little bitty .30 caliber 110-grain bullet barely going 1800 FPS, minute-of-pie-plate accuracy at a hundred yards (if I do my part right).

2013年6月6日 · I've carried many a .40, my wife owns two and while she has shot everything from wheelguns in .38 & .357(once LOL) .380, 9mm, .40 and .45 she MUCH prefers the .40 (and she has shot all bullet weights) and BTW she is deadly accurate with either of her two .40 (Beretta 96 Brigadier Elite IA and S&W M&P .40 C )

2020年3月14日 · Did you know that the single-stack .40 caliber Smith and Wesson Gen3 all-metal pistols use .45 frames and under-bored .45 barrels which tend to dampen recoil better than those on beefed-up 9mm frames you find with most other offerings? These guns were designed for police and military use so they are durable, reliable, and accurate.

2013年10月22日 · Good point! But a riffle is only good with ammo. In a pinch I already have a LARGE stockpile of pistol caliber ammo. If a long term SHTF situation came about a pistol caliber carbine would be welcomed and usefull. The (Just Right Carbine) takes glock mags and for $170 can convert from 9mm/40/45. A worthy tool to add to the war chest.

2018年11月6日 · Closest things I have to a pistol caliber carbine are the M1 Carbine and an old Model 1892 Winchester .32-20. Neither of those is known as particularly flat shooting, and actual performance of both is pretty comparable. I know that with the M1 Carbine zeroed for 100 yards I will be shooting dead on at 25 yards, and about 2" high at 50-75 yards.
