We are located at 2503 Washington Street in the picturesque Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, Washington – the gateway to cruising in Puget Sound from Olympia and Seattle, to the San Juan Islands, the Canadian Gulf Islands, and north through the Inside Passage to Alaska.

The Port Townsend Yacht Club is a fun-loving club with a three part focus on cruises, boating education and socializing with other boaters. The membership currently includes approximately 100 families, with new members joining throughout the year.

Reciprocal agreements are in place with more than 100 other yacht clubs along the West Coast, offering our members free or significantly reduced moorage in exchange for the same when their members visit Port Townsend.

Each spring the Port Townsend Yacht Club awards scholarships to individual students for study in a maritime educational program or college. Approved fields include, but are not limited to: marine biology; fisheries; ship and/or boat building and repair; ship operations, such as officer training; other marine fields

The Port Townsend Yacht Club was first organized in February, 1947. Since 1986, the club has met at the member-built clubhouse located at 2503 Washington Street, overlooking Port Townsend Bay. Members enjoy many social events, both on and off the water and meet monthly September through June.

Port Ludlow has great walking trails, a lovely short hike to local falls and full marina amenities. At the shore-side tent we will celebrate with a Potluck BBQ Dinner. All Members are invited to attend!
