BBQ Austin is a BBQ competition hosted by Rodeo Austin, organized by a volunteer committee, and sanctioned by the Champions Barbecue Alliance (CBA). Teams come from all over the state to compete for the title of BBQ Austin Grand Champion. This year’s event will be held in Austin, Texas at the Travis County Exposition Center on March 7-8, 2025.

BBQ Austin is offering a discount to teams on gate admission and weekend parking passes. Discounts will not be available after registration deadline on January 13, 2025.

*Live Art Auction will take place in conjunction with the Rodeo Austin Youth Auction on the Rodeo Austin Fairgrounds. The Art Auction will begin approximately 2:45 p.m. and will occur between the Market Steer Auction and Market Barrow Auction.

RODEO AUSTIN to perform a criminal history and background check on Participant to verify the representations made above and continued compliance with RODEO AUSTIN’s Criminal Background Check Policy. The undersigned, on behalf of Participant, further authorizes RODEO AUSTIN to review any sex offender registries under Participant’s name.
